Bible Studies

Bible studies help us grow deeper along our journey toward Christ-Centered living.  Some of the adult Bible studies we offer are short-term; others are more in-depth.  Some are offered during the day; others are offered in the evenings.  Some are gender specific; some are not.  Long-term studies such as DISCIPLE Bible studies, Jesus in the Gospels, and Christian Believer begin in September.  Other studies begin and end throughout the year.  

We are committed to providing you with the resources necessary to strengthen and deepen your personal journey with Christ.  We offer studies to enrich understanding of the Bible, United Methodism, Christian ethics, discerning God’s will, repentance, transformation, prayer, journaling, grace, Christian community, spiritual gifts, relationships, service, sharing the gospel, finances, stewardship, and time.

Alpha (12 weeks) – Explore the basics of the Christian faith and find meaning and
    purpose for life

Financial Peace University (13 weeks) FPU is a life-changing program that
    teaches you how to make the right decisions with your money.  You'll be
    empowered with the practical skills and confidence needed to achieve your
    financial goals and experience true financial peace!

DISCIPLE Short-Term Studies (9-12 weeks):  Invitation to Psalms, Invitation to 
    John, Invitation to the New Testament, Invitation to the Old Testament,
    Invitation to Genesis, and Invitation to Romans

DISCIPLE 1 -    Becoming Disciples Through Bible Study (34 weeks) (required 
                      for all remaining long-term Disciple studies) - Covers 70% of the 
                      Bible, both Old and New Testaments

DISCIPLE 2 -    Into the Word Into the World (32 weeks) 
                      Genesis, Luke and Acts

DISCIPLE 3 -    Remember Who You Are (32 weeks)
                      Letters of Paul and the Prophets

DISCIPLE 4 -    Under the Tree of Life (32 weeks) 
                      Old Testament History, Poetry, Lamentations and Daniel, Gospel of 
                      John, letters from other apostles and Revelation
