Authentic Worship

We look for God’s love in our lives as evidence that we have been truly worshipping Him. At GCUMC, worship is central to everything. Worship means learning to recognize God’s goodness while delighting to deepen our responses.

Service Times

Sundays 8:30-9:30am

Traditional worship in the Sanctuary (9am on Easter)


Sundays 11am-12pm

 A "blended" (including both contemporary and traditional elements) worship service in the Sanctuary.  We livestream this service here on our website, YouTube, and Facebook.

  • Pentecost + Brazos Abiertos Anniversary

    May 19, 5pm-7pm

    Join with us in celebrating the one year anniversary of the bilingual faith community Brazos Abiertos. Gather at 5pm for a meal followed by a fully bilingual worship service celebrating Pentecost in English & Spanish.


    Únase a nosotros para celebrar el primer aniversario de la comunidad de fe bilingüe Brazos Abiertos. Reúnase a las 5 p.m. para una comida seguida de un servicio de adoración completamente bilingüe que celebra Pentecostés en inglés y español.

  • Vacation Bible School- SCUBA

    June 24-26

        Vacation Bible School for current Age 3-Grade 6 children - June 24-26, 2024 (Monday-Wednesday) Supper served for participants and volunteers 5:30-6:15 p.m. followed by VBS activities 6:15-8:05 p.m. No cost for supper or event. Come and bring friends to SCUBA VBS – our summer underwater adventure where we are diving into friendship with God!   • SERVING DAY

    July 14

    9am-1pm

    Worship with GCUMC through service to our community on Sunday July 14th.  In place of the 11:00 service, there will be a wide variety of service projects around campus and Greensboro to participate in with your family.  Save the day now to serve our city and our Lord as our offering of worship on this date.  More details and sign up information for projects to come!
